Special Note: All commercial forging activities at Moose Creek Forge are at an end due to my medical disabilities. This site will remain in place for the immediate future as a showcase for my forged items, and as a place where other blacksmiths can look for ideas. To all who have expressed their concerns for my wellbeing, you have my undying gratitude. To all blacksmiths who find ideas here that they can use in their own fires, don't forget to pass them along to others. A final wish from me to all those who work with hot steel... "May your anvils never rust from lack of use!".

This magnificent watercolor painting was done for me by internationally renowned artist and computer graphics wizard, Richard Rezac. Illness took Mr. Rezac a few years ago, but he left a legacy of paintings depicting military men in scenes from WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam which are world famous. He was aware of my own very strong patriotic feelings and was kind enough to incorporate the emblem from my own military unit, the US Navy SEAL Team, into this painting.
